Wanjinas’ call to Aboriginal people for reconciliation

Reconciliate
with us — your Wanjinas, again,
By overcoming anger
and hatred
and pain.

Imposed on your people
two centuries ago.
The moment has come
to let the pain go.

And let the anger go,
and let the hatred go,
so we can again,
your true heart know.

Aboriginal people, listen to us
for we are your Wanjinas.
So you could hear again
the Sky-God above,
who dreamt up for you
this unbounded love.

Let go of the anger,
let go of the hate,
the time has come –
we can no longer wait.

Now, our good people,
come back to us –
for we are your Wanjinas.

Embrace our Vesna
with all of your heart,
so she can heal you
on the Sky-God’s part.

Let go of the anger
let go of the pain
reconciliate with us –
we’ll make you whole again.
