Over fifteen years ago I was declaring that there was a genetic link between southern Indian natives (junglees) and the Australian aboriginal. At the time the aboriginal industry was declaring that they were unique. This has now been debunked and the truth is out there, the Indians and aboriginals are genetically linked. I contend that due to their (aboriginals) propensity for anti social village behaviours they were forced to travel away from the Indian sub continent and the Indonesian archipelago until arriving in Australia via the land bridge during the last ice age. The Australian continental shoreline would have been where the original inhabitants spent most of their time. The interior of Australia was where the mega fauna was found and was possibly inhospitable to the inhabitants. Given that many of the early anthropologists in Australia reported that there was accepted and ritualistic cannibalism amongst the aboriginals it is not too hard to conclude that the original inhabitants were killed off by the people now claiming to be the first peoples, whereas they were the first migrants, European society being the second migration. In years to come I expect that evidence of habitation will be found on the sea bed below our current shore line, will it happen before the current black washing of Australia is achieved is the burning question. I applaud your letter to Svante Pääbo, incidently I live in the Kimberley and met Grahame Walsh whilst I was travelling to Mitchell plateau.
