Open Letter to the Liberal Government; and thanks to the Office for the Arts for defunding the Arts Law Centre of Australia
Before the Federal election on 7 September 2013, this request was sent to the Liberal coalition, in expectation they will take over and liberate Australian people from the Labor Government and its tyranny. We urged the incoming Government to restore freedom of artistic expression and the rights of Australian non-Aboriginal artists to create art without censorship and without fear of Aboriginal violence, as well as the rights of Australian archaeologists to explore the past without political interference. Following our earlier complaints about the Arts Law conduct, the Office for the Arts – now renamed to the Ministry for the Arts – cut its funding to the Arts Law Centre of Australia.
